Scheme Guidelines Guru-Shishya Parampra Repertory Grant
GENRAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR FILLING APPLICATION FORM ONLINE
1. Selection of Art Form
Organizations may select their core art form based on their own expertise and/or the expertise of the Guru, including any specialized art form (like Dance, Music, Theatre)
2. Specification of Core-Art Form
Organizations indicating broad categories such as Folk/Traditional, Vanishing, or Tribal Art, etc. must clearly specify the exact art form (e.g. Yakshagana, Surabhi Theatre, Swang, Puppetry, Mime, name of the musical instruments, etc.) and provide documentary proof pertaining only to the specified art form.
3. Experience Criteria
The organization and the proposed Guru should have a minimum prescribed experience in the concerned art form (e.g., 5–10 years), supported by documentary evidence.
4. Aadhaar and Bank Details
Organizations must ensure that correct Aadhaar details are provided for each Guru and Shishya. It must also be ensured that the bank accounts of all Gurus and Shishyas are Aadhaar-seeded to enable direct transfer of financial assistance under the scheme.
1. Eligibility for Renewal
Only those organizations that has been selected under the Fresh or Renewal category for the grant years 2024–25 / 2025–26 is eligible to apply under the Renewal / Renewal with Enhancement category. This eligibility also includes organizations that were placed under cooling-off during the first phase of cooling-off.
2. Scope of Renewal
Eligible organizations may apply for renewal for the same number of Gurus and Shishyas as approved in the Minutes for the grant years 2024–25 / 2025–26.
3. Enhancement Provision
Organizations may also apply for enhancement, subject to the provisions and guidelines of the scheme.
1. Fresh Applications
Organizations applying under the Fresh category may seek financial assistance for one Guru and up to four Shishyas. However, the quantum of financial assistance shall be determined in accordance with the recommendations of the Evaluation Committee and the provisions of the scheme guidelines in force at the time of consideration.
